The hottest days of the year have arrived and the common advice we get is it to stay out of the sun and drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.

Staying hydrated in summer is the most important thing one can do to beat scorching heat as well as maintain good health. Below mentioned are few drinks which can be used to replenish and restore lost water and energy during summer:

Water: Water is the best to hydrate you provided it is clean.

Coconut water: It is a natural coolant and can instantly cheer you up. It contains all essential nutrients which prevents dehydration.

Buttermilk: Buttermilk has natural coolant properties. Replace sugar loaded drinks with a glass of buttermilk on hot summer day.

Lassi: This drink keeps you hydrated and cool for longer hour. This sweet drink refreshes you from the fatigue caused due to excessive sweating in summers.
